Kent lives in York County, South Carolina, but has deep roots in both Carolinas. He spent much of his time exploring the mountains of North Carolina and developed a strong love for the outdoors hunting, fishing, and surveying throughout the Tri-Counties of York, Lancaster, and Chester. Over the past 15 years, he has also spent extensive time surveying Charlotte and its surrounding counties. This blend of experiences has deepened his lifelong passion for the land. Whether hiking, casting a line, or simply enjoying nature, Kent has always felt most at home outdoors.
He attended York Technical College, where he studied Engineering, laying the foundation for a diverse and successful career. For nearly 30 years, Kent built a reputation as a leader in the land surveying and consulting industry, eventually becoming a partner at an engineering consulting firm in Charlotte, NC. His deep expertise in land, property, and development naturally led him into the world of real estate, where he brings the same passion, precision, and local knowledge to every client he serves.
Kent is married to his wife, Mandee, and together they are raising three wonderful children. Outside of work, Kent enjoys coaching youth sports, spending time at the family farm, exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, or taking in a local sporting event. He is actively involved at Oakland Baptist Church in Rock Hill and believes in using his gifts to serve others both professionally and personally. Kent's commitment to faith, family, and helping others navigate the land and real estate world is at the heart of everything he does.
Big congratulations to Mr. John Gray for harvesting this buck on Youth Day here in North Carolina. Moments like these remind us that land is more than just dirt-it's a place where kids learn, explore, and create lasting memories with family. John shared this milestone with his grandfather, and that's what recreational property is all about.
At Point 135, we know that finding the right piece of land isn't just a transaction - it's a legacy. Whether it's a farm, recreational property, or timberland, we help you make smart decisions that last for generations. Thinking about buying or selling? Contact one of our land brokers today.
Fuller McGill (grandson of land broker, Chip McGill) makes us look good!
Congrats to Logan McGill on his first harvest. It was with a 🏹 on his family's farm! Logan is the fifth generation of the McGill Farm in Kings Mountain. If you need a reliable and informed broker, contact Logan's Dad, Chip. Chip knows a thing or two about land.
Exploring other parts of the country is exciting… This deer was harvested in Butler County, KY. While Kentucky is a beautiful state, it's hard to beat the landscape of the Carolinas, where we enjoy mountains, piedmont, and coast. If you're looking for a recreational property that fits your lifestyle, contact us today.
My name is Joey Gray, and I am happy to announce my affiliation with Point 135 Real Estate as a Provisional Broker.
A little about myself. I am married to my wife, Alyson, and we have seven beautiful children. We live in Kings Mountain, NC, where we are both lifelong residents. I love the Western Piedmont and Foothills of NC and Upstate of SC, their places and their people. I am a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in both North and South Carolina and have been professionally surveying for the past 25 years, since 2007, and was the owner of Gray Surveying Company, Inc. from 2010 to 2023. In 202,3 my firm was acquired by The Thrasher Group, NC, where I am currently the Principal Survey Manager and a shareholder.
I believe that my experience with boundaries of all types, combined with my focus on commercial development, construction, and design, along with my relationships in the design professions and local government, makes me uniquely qualified to represent clients in their real estate transactions. My success as a land surveyor and business owner was and still is based upon a relentless desire to give my clients the very best service through treating them the way I would like to be treated, listening and understanding what they need, and being a part of a team that can accomplish their goals.
These same principles are what guide Point 135, and I am looking forward to being a part of the team!
